Magic Green Eyes

Behind those magic green eyes
Lies a person who no longer tries.
Tries not to love, tries not to laugh
But is more than ready to cross my path.

She is hold on to known truth so tight
That cannot let go to see the light.
The light of a world ever carefree
Wonder if that world for her lies within me...

As time passes, more barriers are built
